Toki Pounamu Film Festival

Toki Pounamu Film Festival

On the 14th of November the senior school from Karoro went down to the
regent to see the first school Film Festival. Karoro school, paparoa range,
Kaniere School, Paroa School, St Patricks, Kumara School, and Blaketown
School competed and came to watch the Toki Pounamu Film Festival.

My favourite movie was Town Robber done by some students from Paroa school,
Sammi Fahey, Pippa Robb, and Caitlan Boddy. I personally liked this film
because it had a humorous background and had more than two characters.
In this film there is a news reporter, reporting a crime scene. A robber had
stolen a lot of money. They had two cops on the job trying to find the robber
in the end they find him sleeping in a little alleyway. The two cops chase him
in a funny way and tackle him to the ground. I really liked this film because it
was really funny.

I think that the film festival was a good idea. It is where students can learn
new things about making new movies and using different apps. I personally
thought that the film festival was all right. I think it would be a good idea if you
didn't have a topic to choose from because that would be a bit more exciting.
